Life in general can feel stressful. Many of us are experiencing an increased sense of confusion and anxiety, feeling like the next breeze will knock us over. How do we change our perspective? Are there ways to move through this holiday season and our lives with greater grace and happiness?
We invite you to join us in person at a special event called Contemplation and Conversation on Sunday, November 6th from 2-3:30 pm at the Mount Laurel Library, 100 Walt Whitman Avenue, in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Share your insights and experiences, try out the contemplative practice of singing HU, an ancient name for God, or just come and enjoy light refreshments and the fellowship of other like-hearted people.
On page 33 of his book, The Sound of Soul, Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader of Eckankar says, “If you want to lift yourself to a higher state of consciousness─so that the political issues, the family issues, the social issues of the day do not throw you out of balance, so that you can find a happier, more contented life while you’re living here─sing HU, the most beautiful prayer.”
HU, when sung with an open heart, can uplift people of any religion, culture, or walk of life. HU can be the key to finding spiritual freedom in your life. Can HU be something you’ve been looking for?
Come find out!
